Shane Mcginnis New Holland, PA Obituary-Death

It is with deep sorrow that we remember Shane William McGinnis of New Holland, a cherished 57-year-old marine mechanic, devoted family man, and friend whose passing leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unforgettable memories.

Shane was a man who lived life fully and on his own terms. Known for his vibrant personality and generous spirit, he had a unique ability to bring people together and make every moment feel meaningful. Whether you needed a laugh, advice, or simply someone to stand beside you, Shane was always there—steady, dependable, and full of heart.

He was the devoted husband of Tina, with whom he built a life centered on love, laughter, and family. A proud father to Brooke and a joyful “Pappy” to his granddaughter Kendall, Shane found his greatest happiness in the people he loved most. He also carried in his heart the memory of his twin daughters, Emily and Allison, now reunited with him in eternal peace.

Shane was a beloved son to Melvin and Linda McGinnis, and a loving brother to Mel II, Jebb, and Justin. He was a proud uncle and great-uncle, deeply connected to his extended family, always showing up with warmth, humor, and genuine care.

A proud member of Howell Lodge No. 405, Shane valued brotherhood, tradition, and community. Outside of his work, he was an avid muscle car enthusiast who found joy behind the wheel of his cherished classic cars, including his Corvette, Camaro, and Coupe. He also loved life on the water, embracing every summer as a true captain, and found peace in music and time spent with loved ones.

To honor Shane’s life and passions, family and friends are invited to gather on April 27th at Rancks United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by funeral and burial services. In tribute to Shane’s love for cars, attendees are encouraged to bring their hot rods, with designated parking available.

As loved ones come together, they will celebrate a life well lived—one filled with laughter, connection, and love.

Shane William McGinnis will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered. May he rest in peace.
