It is with deep sorrow that we remember Chad “Hoochie” Davidson of Dundas, whose passing has left family, friends, and the wider Northfield community mourning the loss of a truly unforgettable man.
Chad was known for his vibrant personality, infectious energy, and the genuine way he connected with everyone he met. Whether you had known him for years or just crossed paths with him once, Chad had a way of making you feel like a friend. His presence lit up every room, and his ability to bring people together made him a cherished part of the community.
A proud graduate of Northfield Senior High School, Chad carried his roots with him throughout his life. He went on to build a career as a Field Supervisor at O’Leary Restoration Inc., where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. He took pride in his work, helping restore and preserve buildings, leaving behind a lasting impact through his craftsmanship.
To those closest to him, Chad was a devoted husband to Katie Rae Davidson, whom he married on April 15, 2022. Their love was evident to all who knew them, and together they built a life filled with connection, laughter, and shared memories. He was also a beloved son to Nina Davidson, and a cherished brother, cousin, and friend to many.
Chad’s presence at local spots like Dawn’s and during Vikings game days became a staple for many. His laughter, stories, and enthusiasm created moments that will never be forgotten. As many have said, game days and gatherings will never feel quite the same without him.
As the community grieves, they also celebrate a life that was full of heart, friendship, and unforgettable moments. Chad’s legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched and the joy he brought to others.
Please keep Katie, his family, and loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.
Chad “Hoochie” Davidson will be forever loved, deeply missed, and always remembered.
